Description
Twelve color slides. Images of Kelly and Moloney playing Irish music on fiddles. Kelly learned to play from his father. The Dade Folk Arts Survey was conducted in 1986 by folklorists Tina Bucuvalas, Nancy Nusz and Laurie Sommers in order to identify folk arts and folk artists for the special folklife area at the 34th Annual Florida Folk Festival. The traditions are mainly Haitian, Jamaican, Mexican, Bahamian, Cuban and Jewish and cover a wide range of skills and art forms.

Pamphlet advertising Fort George Island, located in Duval County near the mouth of the St. Johns River. The pamphlet was published by the Fort George Island Company, and includes a map of proposed developments, engravings of the island, climate information, and testimonials from visitors.

Description
Petition signed by 68 citizens of Alachua County asking the Territorial Legislative Council to create a new county called Emathla County. The council eventually did so, but they decided to call the new county Marion instead. The petition describes the hardships faced by citizens living far away from the county seat. The petition also recommends the boundaries for the new county, which are close to how the Legislative Council eventually shaped Marion County.
