Description
One digital audio tape (DAT). The stage was the site for the 2000 State Fiddlers Competition. Trent Watkins, Jones, Keeney, Baldwin, and Culbreath all gave demonstrations of fiddle styles, and were not competing. Staley, Turner, Harbit, Harrell, and Bret Watkins were competing in the Youth category. The Florida State Fiddle Contest was held each year at the Festival on Saturdays (the stages varied from year to year). The winners were allowed to perform on the Main Stage that evening.

Zanders, Watkins, and Headly competed in the contemporary category. Zanders & Leedham, Malinowski & Agar, Hartman & Thomas, and Headly & Roberts competed in the Twin fiddle category. Moore competed in the Rustic fiddle category. The Florida State Fiddle Contest was held each year at the Festival on Saturdays (the stages varied from year to year). The winners were allowed to perform on the Main Stage that evening.
