A big "Boosters Convention" and Massmeeting will be held Monday night next at Bethel
A.M. E. Church, at 8 o'clock sharp for the purpose of launching our Big Centennial
Drive.
The above "Boosters Convention" and Massmeeting is under the auspices of the Young
Men's Development Club, and we are calling upon every Negro of Tallahassee and Leon County,
who is a Real Man and Citizen, to assert his manhood in this Centennial Celebration
effort.
Rev. John E. Ford, D.D., of Jacksonville, will speak and all should hear him. The Honorable
Mayor of Tallahassee has kindly consented to be present, and will also speak. Mr. Thos. P.
Turner, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of this city, and the heads of all Centennial
committees (white) are invited to be present on this occasion. Come yourself, and bring some
others with you.
