Ten black and white prints. Images of Sarah G. Knott at several Florida Folk Festivals. She was the first director of the Florida Folk Festival in 1953-1954. Born in 1895 in Kevil, Kentucky, Knott studied acting before founding the National Folk Festival in St. Louis in 1934. She served as its director until 1971. Until her death in 1984, she continued to support folk festivals across the nation. File also contains correspondence between Knott and the Florida Folk Festival organizers.
