One audio cassette. A recording of a rattlesnake round-up festival. The tape includes performances by Harry Binder and the Virginia Pardners, an interview with festival organizer Eddy Herman, sounds from the gopher races, and a rattlesnake show by Seabold of Panama City's Snake-a-torium. Rattlesnake round-ups are when a community gathers/hunts rattlesnakes in the local woods to 'clean up' the area. By the 1990s, the San Antonio Round-up, held each October, evolved into the San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival, focusing on environmental education and festival activities.
