One audio cassette. Interview with gospel singer Starling. She was best known as the leader of the Versiteers. While labeled a follow up interview, this was actually the first interview with Starling on her experiences with the education project, which began back in the mid-1980s. She talks about the importance of education, and especially of learning black history; the use of music in education; her friendship with Rev. Brown; and how to connect with the students; the history of her involvement; and she brought in the Versiteers to the program.
