Description
One compact disc. Livingston served as emcee. Young, originally from Newnan, Georgia, was best known as a country music songwriter. Part of both the southern rock and California rock music scene as well as a played a decisive role in the Outlaw movement, Young played and recorded with Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, Gene Clark, and Stephen Stills. Many artists have recorded his songs (especially "Seven Bridge Road") including the Eagles, Joan Baez, and Rita Coolidge, but it was his "outlaw" songs that garnered the most recognition: "Lonesome, Ornery, and Mean," recorded by Waylon Jennings, "Long Way to Hollywood," and "Montgomery in the Rain", both of which were this by Hank Williams, Jr.
