Description

This film starts with excellent aerial footage of the Old Capitol. It describes the inaugural format, showing the Burns inauguration, including the taking of the oath of office. It uses black and white photos and footage of the Sydney Catts' inauguration (1917), and color footage of several more recent ones. There are scenes of inaugural parades and the Burns inaugural ball.
