My dear daughter and family
We recd your letter [too] glad to hear from you but very [sorry] to hear Will is sick hope he is much better you must have your hands full. Well I am setting in the rocking chair writing & am gaining quite well now Nolia is down [here] so Hobert [came] [here] for dinner & I went out & [ate] dinner with them for the first time for over 4 weeks I have such a good [appetite] I [hardly] know when to stop eating [every] thing [tasted] so good Minnie it [seems] [there] was a providence in it that you did not come home is it [Typhoid] [fever] hope he
