GRAHAM HONORS CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER BERNYCE CLAUSELL

Ms. GRAHAM of Florida. Mr. Speaker, today I rise to honor the late Bernyce Clausell, who passed away at the age of 98-years old, last week.
She was a civil rights leader in Tallahassee who participated in the bus boycotts of 1956. She was a devout Christian who, with her husband, founded Calvary Baptist Church in 1958. And later she became the church's pastor - one of the first women to do so in Tallahassee. She was a fixture at town hall meetings and charity drives; and she was always there to help those in need.
We lost a true North Florida hero - but I'm so thankful that we had her for so long. May God bless Pastor Bernyce Clausell - and may he bless each of us with the strength and dedication to serve our communities as well as she did.
