Dear Patricia;
We are sending this letter to you and your seven fellow students to express our admiration for your Courage and the Highly [Principled] stand that you have taken for right and Justice.
With this splendid example of courage shown by you and other students it has inspired the people in Local 431 IUE AFL CIO Waldes Shop to do some things to help in the struggle. Our shop has been picketing Woolworth Stores regularly, and will continue to do so until this fight is won.
We have also raised $300.00 for CORE and it is our aim to do much more.
Some of our members met you on the picket line at 125th Street when you were visiting here. That is why we are addressing this letter to you.
If there is anything that we can do personally you [will] kindly let us know, as we don't know the local rule there.
