Dear Patricia,

I am a thirty-three year old housewife with two children who lives in Queens, New York City. I would like to say to you on behalf of my family and friends that we are proud of you and the stand you have taken. Your sacrifice for us all in this endeavor has not been in vain. All over the country other students are striking in one form or another in sympathy.
