Congratulations on your peaceful efforts to end lunch-counter segregation, and on your bravery. It is an inspiration to read of the widespread student movement of which you are a part.
We wish we could do more to help you. As you know, quite a few people have been picketing Woolworth's in this area, + we have been helping with this. But it is you people who are making the real contribution.
If possible, don't become discouraged! and remember a lot of people are very sympathetic with you.
