Dear Patricia, Clement, William, Barb, Angela, Priscilla [several names illegible due to tears]:

I read your letter, Patricia, in the April 1960 issue of the "Core-Lator." Your noble witness there, and your letter, were deeply moving. I only wish I could be with you in jail, or at least be in Florida, so that I could visit you all. Perhaps when you receive this note you will have been released. If so, my sincere congratulations on your stand. If you have not already discovered the book, you will one day want to read Prisoner for God, by the German martyr, Dietrick Bonhoeffer, which is a collection of his letters and papers from prison, where he had been put by the Nazis, for this Christian stand.
