Dear Friend:
A number of people have asked me about my work and about the Fellowship of Reconciliation. It is good to have this opportunity to send you a few materials and to invite your participation, in some way, in our work for brotherhood.
There are several ways in which you might wish to be a part of our work:
1. Become a member. If you accept our Statement of Purpose, sign the enclosed application and return it to us, signed.
2. Become a supporter. Many persons, who do not feel they can become members, but who wish to support financially all or part of our work, assist the work in this vital way. Those who contribute over $5.00 have $3.00 of their gift applied to our magazine, FELLOWSHIP, which you got every-other-month, and its Peace Information Edition, which you get twice a month. In this way, you can support the work -- and also keep in touch with the nonviolent movement.
3. Become a subscriber to our magazine. Only $3.00 a year ($2.00 for students) isn't much for the privilege of self-education in nonviolence. News of the movement the world over, in race relations, in capital punishment, in international affairs, with thought-articles by the world's nonviolent leadership.
Won't you join me in this work?
Sincerely yours,

Student Secretary
