Letter from John W. Edward to Joseph E. Lee asking Lee his opinion as to the merits of the various gubernatorial candidates during the 1916 gubernatorial election in Florida. Edwards is secretary of "Club #2," evidently a Republican organization in DeLand, Florida. In his reply on October 31, 1916, Lee writes that he will vote for Republican candidate George W. Allen and asks Edward and all other Republicans to vote the whole Republican ticket.
