Of Nu. 9694. Register of 1898. S.S. "FANITA" built 1868 Wilmington, Del. Length 161'. Breadth 26'. Iron hull. From sketch by H.C. McKay, son of Capt. Jim McKay (owner). S.S. "FANITA" orig. yacht then took supplies to Cuba then raw freight Tampa to New Orleans. Abandoned and sunk at Tampa.
