General Note
W. T. Cash was state librarian from 1927 until his death in 1951. Carita Doggett Corse was the director of the Florida division of the Federal Writers Project from 1935 until 1942.

I have written to Mr. Johnston, Publisher of the Apalachicola Times, and offered him our cooperation in preparing a special edition of his paper.
For your information, we were advised by the Washington office several days ago, that the Florida State Guide is to be published this fall.
We appreciate the kind remarks which you made about the Federal Writers' in your letter to Mr. Johnston, and I am sure that such friends as you have helped to cement our good relations with the public.
