Description

Instrument signed by Governor Rick Scott certifying the slate of presidential electors submitted by the Republican Party of Florida for the 2016 presidential election. Pursuant to Chapter 103, Florida Statutes, after the election the governor certifies the electors from whichever party won the most votes for president and vice-president in that election. The electors then meet and officially cast ballots representing Florida's choice for president and vice-president of the United States. The certificate is counter-signed by Secretary of State Ken Detzner.
