Description

Telegram sent by "Gabby" to Governor Spessard Holland, stating that Mrs. Eva Hutches would enter the primary for the election to replace her husband, Clint J. Hutches, who had died. "Gabby" goes on to say that Chief Deputy S.D. Smith was willing to accept a temporary appointment as sheriff and not run in the special election.
