Lee Mainella reports about the Florida Pesticide Review Council, which would soon be releasing its recommendations on the use of potentially harmful chemicals. Top on the list is ethylene dibromide (EDB), a pesticide that had been used in grain products. The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency had recently banned EDB as a soil fumigant and set limits on its use. There was concern that there would be high levels of EDB in baby food. In the middle of the film the image disappears, but Mainella continues speaking.
