Description

Lee Mainella reports about a bill approved by the House Appropriations Committee that would make drinking while driving illegal. The bill outlaws the sale of alcohol from drive-up windows and requires people to walk inside to purchase alcohol. Representative Bill Shackelford comments about the need for this preventative measure to curb DUIs. The committee decided that the ban on drinking in the car should only apply to the driver.
