Carrie Mae Pittman Meek (1926-2021) was an educator and politician from the Miami area. She represented Miami in the Florida House of Representatives from 1979 to 1982, the Florida Senate from 1982 to 1992, and the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2003 (17th Congressional District).
