At Florida Trailer Estates, every resident benefits from our modern conveniences. The streets bordering all lots are paved and well lighted. All residents are welcome to join their neighbors at the recreation hall and shuffleboard courts. All residents get twice-a-week garbage pick-up, AND, as a remarkable bonus that is rarely offered—ALL residents get an UNMETERED WATER SUPPLY from a central water system. As can be seen, we have all the modern conveniences that are expected in a well-planned
subdivision.
LOT SIZES & PRICES
The lots range in size from 42 ft. x 75 ft. to 50 ft. x 105 ft. and in price from $695 to $1495.
In between these highs and lows there is a wide and varied selection of lot sizes, prices, and locations from which to choose. There is a lot size, price, and location to suit virtually every taste and every budget.
PAYMENT PLANS
Our payment plans are tailored to fit each individual. However, to give an idea of one of our more popular payment plans; a $695 lot can be purchased for $95 down and $10 per month at 6% Bank-rate interest. Even this can be altered to more nearly fit a particular need or desire. Of course, you can alway pay cash. EVERY PURCHASER RECEIVES FREE DEED AND TITLE INSURANCE!
RESTRICTIONS
In order to maintain our good living standard and to protect the rights of each resident, we have formulated a set of restrictions. In brief: we do not allow vicious or obnoxious pets (we do allow pets as long as they do not harm or annoy their neighbors), we do not allow shabby or sub-standard trailers (that is to say, we do not allow any trailer that will in any way detract from the property value of any resident in the Estates), and we do not sell lots to families with small children (not that anyone in the Estates dislikes children, but our retirees prefer children as visitors rather than as permanent residents). All other restrictions follow these lines—all for the protection of Florida Trailer Estates residents.
LOCAL RECREATION AREAS
There are many excellent local recreation areas that are sure to give many hours of pleasure to everyone. For example: HILLS- BOROUGH RIVER, CRYSTAL SPRINGS, LAKE IOLA, LAKE PASADENA, WITHLACOOCHEE RIVER, HILLSBOROUGH RIVER STATE PARK, and others too numerous to mention. ALSO, Zephyrhills has a public swimming pool, and a tourist club open to all retirees.
CLIMATE AND ELEVATION
Our mid-Florida climate is excellent! We have the typically mild winters you know about in Central Florida, and due to our high elevation (90 feet above sea level) our summers are much cooler than in many other areas.Also, the almost constant gentle breeze we receive because of our elevation, keeps us relatively free of bothersome insects. Our elevation also helps us to be free of any water problems—either too much or too little.
