The 208 ft. stainless steel "Beacon of Faith" is on the grounds of Mission of Nombre de Dios. The Great Cross was dedicated during the diocesan Eucharistic Congress of October 1966 to celebrate the Four Hundredth anniversary of the founding of Mission of Nombre de Dios by Pedro Menendez de Aviles.
