Glider was "designed by Israel Ludlow, New York lawyer/amateur scientist, and sent as an added attraction for the auto races. Pilot Charles K. Hamilton was towed aloft by auto but the flight only went about 150 feet before a wing rib broke and a minor crash occurred"--negative sleeve.
