From handwritten note attached to sleeve (page 1): Cora Ferrell was born May 26, 1879 in Leon County, Florida and died April 4, 1972 in Leon County, Florida. Cora was the daughter of Benjamin Ferrell (1845-1904) and Annie Wiggins Ferrell (1855-1933)... Cora Ferrell married William Alonzo Register December 4, 1898. They were married by Reverend James Holland. They were the parents of seven children...
Note from sleeve: Cora: born May 26, 1879, daughter of Benjamin and Annie Wiggins Ferrell. Grandfather John Daniel Wiggins is in Leon County 1830 Census. Married William Alonzo Register 12/4/1898. Parents of seven children. Cora died April 4, 1972. Alonzo, Jr., born September 8, 1906. Operated in turpentine, cattle and produce farmer and tree owner. Eloise born 1904, died June 26, 1992. Taught first and 2nd grade in Woodville school for 44 years.

From handwritten note attached to sleeve (page 5): ...Alonzo, Jr., was born September 8, 1906. He was a turpentine industry operator (one of the last in this area), cattle, and produce farmer, and is still a tree farmer. Eloise, born in 1904, and deceased June 26, 1992, was a first and second grade teacher in the Woodville School for 44 years. Winnie Register Culbreath is another daughter now living in Tallahassee. She is a former teacher. Other children in the family were: Genevieve Register Wooten (1899-1984), clerk for the Motor Vehicle Department; Lucille (1901-1904); Samuel Albert (1908-1961), engineer, Department of Transportation; and Annie Hazel Register McDaniel (1911-1975). --written by Winnie Culbreath and Frances Rhodes Sanderson, granddaughter.
