that the Centro Asturiano of Havana was organized as a group medicine
body in 1886, and that it now has vast grounds and a group of 24 large
hospital and administration buildings valued at ten million dollars, with
35,000 members and numerous branch societies. Former residents of
Cuba declare that besides Centro Asturiano there are several associations
in Havana, and that the group medicine hospitals in that city are among
the finest in the world, representing an aggregate investment of more
than $50,000,000.
