Florida's population increase of 2,124,000 new citizens, 1950-65 (U.S. Census
Bureau Estimate), will create a new market equal to the total persent population of
such states as Oregon, Mississippi, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
Equal also to:
The combined populations of South Dakota, Idaho and Montana.
Greater than:
The total combined estimated increase of Florida's fast-growing southeastern
neighbors: Alabama (301,000), Georgia (602,000), North Carolina
(710,000), and South Carolina (326,000).
Jacksonville, with its excellent land, air and water transportation facilities,
adequate power, ample manpower and electric power facilities,
ideal year-round climate, limitless industrial water, good schools and
cultural atmosphere, stands as the logical hub of a great new marketing
empire. Jacksonville is ideally situated to serve this richly developing
domestic market and, through a great, well-euipped [sic] port,
the burgeoning South-American markets.
THAT IS WHY INCREASING NUMBERS OF NATIONAL FIRMS ARE
JOINING THE MODERN TERND TO JACKSONVILLE. When planning south-
eastern factory, branch plant, office or warehouse locations, consider
these important factors.
Ask us for a specific, individualized survey tailored to your needs. And
write today for "THE JACKSONVILLE STORY," a condensed factual
outline of Jacksonville's industrial advantages.
