General Note
It is located on the east side of the Woodville Highway at the Leon/Wakulla line. Constructed in 1908, owned and operated by Sam T. Rhodes. Sold by widow in 1936 to Newton Culbreath, who combined it with his Wakulla Turpentine Industry. Abandoned in 1941/42. This is a double still, with l-r: unloading platform, rosin house, boiler (under big shed), vat for boiling off wood chips and cart outside shed to cart them away, rosin house (center foreground), unloading platform at far right.
