Tallahassee firefighters Bernie Kemp (foreground) and Ray Holley are conducting an equipment check on the Tallahassee Fire Department's 65' Seagrave ladder truck. Inventory was required to be taken on all apparatus every Saturday although this was being done on Tuesday for an unknown reason.
Biographical Note
Firefighter Bernard "Bernie" Kemp was hired on January 16, 1956 and retired on July 6, 1989 as a Captain with over 33 years of service.
Firefighter Kenneth "Ray" Holley was hired on December 5, 1955 and retired on December 14, 1980 with over 25 years of service.
