General Note
Accompanying note: "Donald and Gladys Marks, of Fort Wayne, show Deaconess Harriet Bedell, center, the garments made for them by the Mikasuki Indians. The skirt along has over 3,200 tiny pieces of cloth arranged in symbolic patterns. Although other Indians have gone 'modern' and lost much of their traditional art, Deaconess Bedell has been instrumental in seeing that the Mikasuki arts and crafts remain unchanged."
