COUNTRY TRIP
To MANDARIN
The Home of the Late
Harriet Beecher Stowe
and ORANGE GROVES
Since the great freeze of 1898 no effort has been made to raise oranges in Jacksonville, the nearest grove at Mandarin.
To satisfy an increasing demand for a trip into the country to a typical
FLORIDA ORANGE GROVE
we have provided a magnificent six-cylinder, sixty-horsepower Pierce Arrow Touring Car. This is by the far the most luxirious sight-seeing auto ever put on the road.
This trip starts from the United Cigar Store daily at 10 A.M. and 2 P.M., crossing the St. Johns River, giving a magnificent water front view of the city, passing through South Jacksonville and beautiful Florida Jungle of moss covered live oaks, magnolias and semi-tropical foliage.
A 32-mile ride over excellent shell roads to the little town of Mandarin, and the site of the home of the authoress of Uncle Tom's Cabin.
