For many, many years I had the hope and desire to give to the public a new type of entertainment - something new, different and original. I opened the Old Heidelberg Restaurant. At that time with a seating capacity of four hundred and fifty persons, and immediately, because of its genial and homelike atmosphere and surroundings, the Old Heidelberg became the rendezvous of persons desiring a pleasant evening's entertainment. Apparently I succeeded in pleasing the public, for today the Old Heidelberg is one of the finest restaurants of its kind in Florida, with a seating capacity now of about one thousand. Two shows nightly provide entertainment and music unsurpassed. The Finest of food, only fine grades beer, wines, and liquors are served, and our excellent dinners and a la carte meals are known from coast to coast. The Old Heidelberg Restaurant is located on Federal Highway No. 1 in Hallandale, next to the Hollywood Kennel Club, and one-half mile from the Gulfstream Park Race Track, and one mile south of Hollywood Circle.
