Dear Pat + Priscilla,

It certainly was good hearing from you. I do hope you are doing alright, that is, as well as can be expected under the circumstances. We are all so very proud of the sacrifice you have made. It was most wonderful of all of you.

We are fine here. For many days after you left, Amy kept asking for the "girls". I'm so glad you feel at home with us. It is just what we wanted + hope you know how very welcome you are anytime you are here in New York.

I hope you have been getting all the news about what is going on here. Everyday the papers carry wonderful
