When we heard the news that you and your friends had chosen to spend 2 months of the spring in jail because you refused to compromise your sincere beliefs in the injustices of racial discrimination, we at Bryn Mawr were galvanized into something more constructive than a lot of talk in support of your stand. We have formed the Bryn Mawr Civil Rights Committee which is well underway with several projects designed to help you and your cause in a practical way. You have set an example which we all admire.
