We wish to express our awareness of the sacrifice you are making. You have stirred the conscience of America and Freedom Loving people everywhere. The individual has become awakened to the injustice inherent in the denial of civil, social and economic rights to anyone, anywhere.
You are truly the New Negro; of a breed with millions who are militantly struggling to emerge from the darkness of subjection and second-class citizenship, into the bright sun of equality of opportunity and full recognition of the inalienable rights of all humanity.
Know, that you are not alone. We of the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern parts of this great Country have joined in battle against the forces of inequity. Understand, that the forces which your actions and subsequent incarceration has put into motion, have grown into an avalanche of protest, picketing and petitioning.
So, stand fast! For the Cause that needs assistance; For the wrongs that need resistance; For the Future in the distance; ... And the good that you will do.
We are indeed proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you as soldiers in the army for the liberation of man.
