Dear Patricia, and the other brave students:
I am a student here at Andover Newton Theological School. For the past few weeks I have been doing quite a bit of speaking on the subject of 'Race Relations.' Tonight while I was doing some research I came across your letter in the Core-lator. So, in spite of the fact that it is past [midnight], I wanted to write and say hello.
I have no words to express to you the significance of what you are doing. Truly you are making a great contribution to our race, our country and the world.
I am trying to do all I possibly can here in the North to explain what is taking place. You see, I am from Houston, Texas. Many of the people up here do not understand the importance of the Student Protest Movement.
I must close now in order to do a little more work on my speech for tomorrow. May God continue to guide and bless each of you.
I am,
Yours in the spirit of Christ,
