Dear Patricia -
It is with speed + too much haste that I write this letter to you. I know that you will be getting out of "the hotel" on May 6th and I want you to receive this note before you leave. I am a good friends of Rev. Worsley's + am studying at the same seminary.
It is exciting to know that Priscilla + you are coming to NYC to be in a position to share some of your experiences with us. I had the good fortune to present at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference meeting in Raleigh on Easter weekend + to feel and catch the spirit of the movement. And I pray that Jim Lawson and all of you will be able to keep the base of Christian non-violence alive and working that your demonstrations have not had the violence that the ones in Korea, Japan and Turkey have had. Several of us
who are northern whites were at Raleigh. Most of us have youth groups and we try to communicate what your schedule is, but I'm going to call Jim Robinson - I certainly hope that one or both of you will be able to spend an evening with us at the Manhasset Congregational Church. Available evenings are May 15, May 22 + May 29th
