My dear Friends:
I am not a student myself but I am the mother of a twenty year old student. I want you to know my heart, my feelings and all of my support is with each and every one of you. We are picketing the Woolworth's in S. F. to in protest to these most undemocratic principles.
If my daughter lived in the South I know she would be sitting in jail with you. She is very active in San Francisco fighting for equality and the rights that every American is guaranteed on the day of his birth.
Just last Saturday she resigned as Worthy Advisor in her Rainbow Assembly (Masonic) because she was not allowed to bring negro girls
