Dear Priscilla Stephens:
I want to [express] my appreciation of the quiet, cheerful courage with which you are demonstrating the power of nonviolence in our own society.
[Gandhi] wrote, "The goal is Truth and the way to it is nonviolence." Jesus said, "Blessed are the meek, they shall inherit the earth".
May you continue to have the faith and the strength to carry on in love the struggle for freedom, not only for yourselves, but since freedom is indivisible, for all of us.
