Dear Friends,
I want to tell you how much I sympathize with you in your situation. But even more I appreciate the stand you are taking. You have shown to me that there are people who have a principle and are even willing to suffer for it.
I can't give the official word of Goshen College, but I can tell you that our student body as a whole stand back of you in your pacifist opposition to the injustices you bear. Dr. Martin Luther King lectured here and was fully appreciated by the community. But, as I often fret, we are not like you in really moving into action for a cause we support. So much the more, then, do I want to encourage you.
