BRADLEY UNIVERSITY
PEORIA, ILLINOIS
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY

My dear Mrs. Rustam:
Thanks for your letter received on today telling of the plight of the young white man who dared eat with Negroes. It is too bad that such things could happen in this enlightened day and in our enlightened home of the brave and land of the free.
I think your suggestion that he enroll at Roosevelt University in Chicago is the best advice. This is one of the finest schools in our country for Race Relations - both from a theoretical and a practical point of view. Unfortunately, Bradley does not offer a major or minor in Race Relations. Hence, we cannot advise that he come here.
Also, I would further advise that you have the young man to write directly to Roosevelt University as I am sure that he would have to supply certain information on the application forms they mail to him before they accept him.
Wishing you and the young man every degree of success, I am
Sincerely yours,
