This correspondence centers on a proposed letter to Disney officials authored by State Representative Bill Reedy but intended to come from Governor Haydon Burns, recommending cooperation between Disney and the Florida Telephone Corporation (FTC) for telephone service for Walt Disney World. A draft of the letter is included, as are letters from Merrill Lynch and Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company offering their support for an FTC expansion.
