Description

Letters and one telegram exchanged between civil defense officials regarding signs indiciating restrictions on the use of beaches near St. Augustine. The first letter is from James H. Reynolds, Jr., chairman of the St. Johns County Defense Council to Albert H. Blanding, chairman of the Florida State Defense Council, enclosing a letter from St. Augustine City Manager H.C. Gooch, who was asking if certain signs about blackout regulations could be removed. Subsequent correspondence between Blanding and Reynolds reflect a resolution of the issue.
