Description

Draft of an act of the Florida Territorial Legislative Council providing for commuting the punishment of whipping to public labor. The bill was later annotated as having been from 1824, but it does not appear to have been passed during that legislative session. It may have either failed to pass a vote in the Territorial Legislative Council or the contents of the bill were incorporated into another act.
