Description

Act of the Florida Legislature laying out the conditions under which state militia may be called to respond to riots and civil disturbances. The law details which officials have that authority, and under what circumstances. Punishment for militia officers who failed to comply with orders authorized in this law were guilty of a misdemeanor and could face penalties up to a 500 dollar fine, six months imprisonment or both.
