Description

Correspondence between a group identifying themselves as the "Ladies of Baker," Governor Doyle E. Carlton, B. J. Nettles, and Mallie Martin. The Ladies of Baker report that Diamond William has been selling whiskey in Baker and request Governor Carlton send an officer to investigate. Governor Carlton and Martin refer the letter to Nettles, and Nettles reports back with findings.
