Description

A letter from Mrs. R. L. [Mabel Ruth] Mixon to Governor Doyle E. Carlton asking for the governor's help in securing training as an air pilot for her son. Mixon writes that her son came from Okeechobee to the lake following the storm and describes how her family stood on their dining room table as the storm destroyed their home.
