Located at 600 Biscayne Blvd., the News Tower was patterned after the 800-year-old Giralda bell tower in Seville, Spain. It was later added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 as Freedom Tower and to the National Historic Landmarks Program on October 6, 2008.
